I am so glad to see the sun shining and the tulips coming up! Spring in the North West is always so brilliant after the cold, snowy, Winter, when everything is frozen and nature seems to be asleep.
Along with Spring comes spring cleaning. I bought myself the Lint Lizard because I had five years of lint and dust in my dryer.
The Lint Lizard really didn't get much out of the dryer. I guess either my dryer wasn't as bad as I thought or, the Lint Lizard isn't all I'd hoped it would be. (Big, dramatic sigh) Oh, well. My dryer is now cleaner than it was previously, if only slightly so. Yay!
Spring for me also means Passover. My family loves it! I find it challenging to come up with interesting things to do with matzo. Still, we have our special food we only have at this time of year. We also have our family Seder with the storytelling, songs, and symbolic foods. Yes, indeed! It's definitely a big deal. It's exciting and makes me feel closer to my ancestors. I'm sure the four glasses of wine help, too.(ha, ha)
So, to me, Spring means: Cleaning, Passover, and Nature Awakening. Peace and blessings to you all this season!
